“The Joan Rivers Show,” which saw its ratings jump more than 25% when it taped a week’s worth of shows in Los Angeles last month, will return here on Monday to tape five weeks worth of shows. The 3-month-old show is exploring the possibility of having a permanent base in Southern California for three months of the year, seeking to be television’s first bicoastal talk show.

Meanwhile, in other talk show news, Diahann Carroll and her daughter Suzanne Kay will co-host a proposed new syndicated talk series. It’ll be called “Just Between Us” and is being offered for sale to stations in a five-day-a-week, 30-minute format.
