WESTMINSTER : 2 Burglary Suspects Flee; Loot Recovered
Police on Monday chased two young men suspected of burglarizing a Westminster apartment, until the men abandoned their car and the stolen goods.
The incident began when neighbors reported two men in their 20s apparently stealing a television and videocassette recorder from an apartment in the 7200 block of Trask Avenue at about 3 p.m.
Officers spotted the suspects, traveling in a gray Hyundai Excel, and gave chase, Sgt. Philip Marshall said.
In the 1100 block of Santa Maria Street in Stanton, the suspects stopped and fled from their car. Police recovered a television and VCR, Marshall said.
The men remain at large.
