Sagansky Cancels ‘Snoops’: One of the first actions of new CBS Entertainment president Jeff Sagansky was to formally cancel the low-rated Tim and Daphne Maxwell Reid series “Snoops” and replace it with “Max Monroe: Loose Cannon” in the 8 p.m. Friday slot. The new show will debut Jan. 5. “Loose Cannon” stars radio and television personality Shadoe Stevens as an unconventional Los Angeles police officer and is produced by Fred Silverman and Dean Hargrove in association with Viacom Productions. “Snoops” was also produced in association with Viacom and had been on hiatus since Dec. 8 The show was third in its time slot, netting, on average, about a 16% share of the viewing audience.
