Idaho Tramples UCSD, 95-54
The UC San Diego men’s basketball team was routed by host Idaho, 95-54, in a nonconference game Saturday night. Idaho was led by center Riley Smith (19 points) and guard Ron Shields (17).
UCSD (7-3), which trailed 41-25 at halftime, was led by Tim Rapp, who had 15 points and four rebounds. UCSD shot 38% from the field, Idaho 58%.
Idaho is 8-2.
