Police are looking for a man they suspect is responsible for the Christmas Eve shooting death of a Reseda woman, authorities said Monday.

Anna Alfaro, 22, was pronounced dead shortly before 11 p.m. in a parking lot behind an apartment building on Hazeltine Avenue in Van Nuys, said Los Angeles Police Sgt. Wendi Massa.

Massa said Alfaro was kidnaped at gunpoint from 7033 Hazeltine Ave., dragged to the rear of 7109 Hazeltine Ave., and shot in the head. An autopsy was to be performed this week, said Los Angeles County Coroner’s investigator Dean Gilmure.
