Panama Letters
Through Friday, Dec. 29, The Times had received 205 letters on the U.S. military action in Panama. Of these, 135 opposed the U.S. action, 23 favored it and 47 were on subtopics or could not be categorized. Form letters and those without return addresses were not counted.
