Houston Oiler Coach Jerry Glanville, whose job is thought to be on the line, met for more than two hours with owner Bud Adams and General Manager Mike Holovak. Glanville said he still was coach of the Oilers, but afterward he flew to Atlanta to interview for the Falcon head coaching job.
“All we did was have our usual (season ending) meeting and everything went fine,” Glanville said of his meeting with Adams and Holovak.
