SHADOW OF A DOUBT

I couldn’t put down Siegel’s “Shadow of Doubt.” I only wish I had been reading a suspenseful novel instead of a very sad true story. I hate novels that end without an ending, and it’s even worse to be left hanging on a true story.

I can understand the unwillingness of the victim’s parents to have this story published. On the other hand, it is troublesome that such a story would not come to light. Are you sure The Times let the story go all the way?
