IRVINE : Child Center Selling Fund-Raiser Tickets
The UC Irvine Child Development Center is selling raffle and picnic tickets to raise money for playground equipment at the school, which serves hyperactive children who are in kindergarten through fifth grade.
Raffle prizes include a trip to San Francisco and a color television. The picnic, for adults and children, is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at TeWinkle Park in Costa Mesa. Raffle tickets are $1; the suggested price for picnic tickets is $5.
The center, which has 40 students, is run by the UCI department of pediatrics.
