SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Historian Named to Arts, Heritage Panel
The City Council on Tuesday named Orange County historian and author Pamela Hallan-Gibson to the Cultural Arts and Heritage Commission.
A 22-year city resident, Gibson, 45, has written books detailing the history of both San Juan Capistrano and Orange County.
The five-member commission reviews the archeological and historical significance of sites of proposed development projects in the 213-year-old community.
