Golfer Jan Stephenson underwent successful surgery to repair a double fracture of her left ring finger, suffered when she was mugged and robbed Tuesday night in Miami.

Dr. Eric Freeh said he inserted two tiny metal screws into the finger during the two-hour operation at Phoenix’s Humana Hospital.
