Death Penalty Controversy
I see that California is once more on the brink of committing judicial murder.
And when the executioner pulls the lever we shall probably find most of the clergy sitting on their hands, afraid to speak out in support of the commandment they preach, for fear of losing their congregations and financial support.
As Lenny Bruce reminded us, “God said, ‘thou shalt not kill,’ not amend Section A.” Oh, ye hypocrites.
