Dennis Franz to Star in ‘Nasty Boys’ on NBC

“Nasty Boys,” an action-adventure series starring former “Hill Street Blues” regular Dennis Franz, will join the NBC lineup Feb. 23.
Inspired by the real-life North Las Vegas Nasty Boys, a crime-fighting unit whose members protect their anonymity by wearing black Ninja-style hoods, “Nasty Boys” will inherit the 9-10 p.m. time slot currently held by “True Blue.”
“True Blue” will complete its run of original episodes Feb. 16. An NBC spokeswoman said that it could return later.
