The new Irvine Cultural Affairs Commission will hold its second meeting Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Irvine City Hall. Development of an operating structure for the commission will be discussed, according to chairwoman Peggy Mears, who said a report on possible funding sources for the arts in Irvine has been postponed until March. James Kerchner, an Irvine businessman, recently was appointed the fifth and final commission member by City Councilman Cameron Cosgrove, Mears said.
