Jose Sulaiman, the embattled president of the World Boxing Council, said he has no intention of resigning, as reports have said he would do at a meeting of the organization’s executive committee Wednesday at Mexico City.
“I’m a fighter; I was born to fight,” Sulaiman told AP from his home at Mexico City shortly after he returned from the hospital where he had been treated for what he called “a very serious” pancreas problem.
