Avon to Sell Avon Japan Shares: Avon Products said it has agreed to sell its remaining 60% stake in Avon Japan to a private Japanese mail-order firm and its president in a cash deal valued at $450 million. Friends of Freesia Co. and Freesia President Veji Sasaki will pay $408 million in cash and another $42 million in advance royalties in 18 months, Avon said.
