Renowned Journalists to Discuss National, World Issues
Three nationally known journalists featured on the public television program “Washington Week in Review” will discuss national and world affairs at a luncheon Monday at the Four Seasons Hotel in Newport Beach.
Offering analysis in a format that encourages audience participation will be Jack Nelson, Pulitzer Prize-winning chief of the Los Angeles Times’ Washington bureau; Charles McDowell, author and political correspondent for the Richmond Times-Dispatch; and Paul Duke, senior Washington correspondent for PBS and moderator of the weekly news program.
Proceeds from the $75-a-person luncheon, underwritten in part by the Times Orange County Edition, will benefit the Laguna Art Museum, organizers said.
