Coliseum, Rose Bowl Both Take Their Lumps
- Share via
Buried in the last paragraph of your story, “Rose Bowl Bids for Super Bowl,” (Feb. 8) is a sentence that says the Rose Bowl has proposed an $8.3-million project to renovate the press box and install club seating. While that’s very nice for the ladies and gentlemen of the press and for the elite group that can afford the luxury seating, how about some renovations for us poor slobs who buy tickets to the antiquated stadium? The Rose Bowl has the most uncomfortable seating of any stadium in the United States. I’ll take the much-maligned L. A. Coliseum anytime.
