Courageous Man
Ray Abboud (Metro, Feb. 16, the man who helped the people in the car accident and then apprehended the other driver) is the kind of person who has everything we seem to lack in this country! He has courage, strong core values, and energy. He takes responsibility.
Americans need to stop wondering why our kids are in gangs, why people take drugs, why workers have an apathetic attitude.
The answer is for everyone to develop personal integrity and stand behind their beliefs. The government can’t do this for us. Nor can business. Religions try.
But what it comes down to is individuals living in energetic anticipation of gain instead of insidious fear of loss. The more the Ray Abbouds are rewarded, the sooner we will start looking up to and emulating this type of behavior. Good story!
