What Ortega Speech?: Technical problems were cited Monday as the reason that many Los Angeles viewers were not able to see a speech by Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega that was supposed to be broadcast Saturday on the community access channels of local cable systems. According to Bill Rosendahl, vice president of Century Cable in Santa Monica, there were problems in pulling the signal down from the satellite. The speech did air in most places as planned, however.
