In other Warhawk tournament games:

Kearny 7, Point Loma 5--Sean Palmer hit a triple, drove in two runs and stole two bases for Kearny (3-1). Scott Goligoski (1-1) had seven strikeouts, three walks and allowed four hits.

Castle Park 8, Hoover 1--Jose Yescas hit a two-run triple in the third to give Castle Park a 6-0 lead. Yescas (1-0) struck out four batters while giving up six hits.

Serra 4, Madison 3--With the bases loaded in the seventh, Serra sophomore Chris Lilac struck out one batter, got another to pop up and then struck out a third. Lilac pitched four scoreless innings, striking out five and allowing just two hits for Serra (3-1). Madison is 2-2.

Monte Vista 7, San Dieguito 1--Neal Svalstad hit a two-run double to clinch the victory for Monte Vista (3-1). Svalstad went two for four with two RBIs. San Dieguito dropped to 0-4.

Bonita Vista 6, Orange Glen 2--With two outs in the fifth, Orange Glen committed two errors allowing Bonita Vista to score three runs. Scott Coleman hit a solo home run for Orange Glen.

Reyman-Pirate tournament

Grossmont 10, Ramona 5--Steve Moyer hit a single to drive in two of Grossmont’s seven runs in the third. Moyer went three for four with three RBIs. Todd Dick hit a home run in the second for Ramona (1-2). Grossmont is 3-0. The game was called in the sixth because of darkness.

Laguna Beach 10, Oceanside 1--Laguna Beach scored five runs in the sixth inning. Terry Vaughn went two for three with an RBI in the third, Oceanside’s only run.

Rancho Buena Vista 7, Temecula Valley 3--Dave Roberts hit a three-run homer as RBV scored six in the fourth. Roberts went two for four with a double and the home run. RBV is 1-1-1.

Torrey Pines 5, El Camino 2-Winning pitcher Scott Gunther had three doubles and five RBIs for the Falcons (2-1), including two in the top of the seventh after El Camino intentionally walked the go-ahead run on to base to face Gunther.

Fallbrook 7, San Pasqual 1--With one out, junior third baseman Matt Dunlap hit his first grand slam. Fallbrook improved to 3-0.
