Academic Olympiad Scheduled Saturday

The ninth annual Alfred M. Stern Academic Olympiad will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Mt. San Antonio College Gymnasium, Grand Avenue and San Jose Hills Road, Walnut. Each of 23 East Valley high schools participating will have a team of five to seven students who will compete in mathematics, physical and biological sciences, social sciences, humanities, and oral composition.

The high schools are Azusa, Baldwin Park, Bishop Amat, Bonita, Covina, Damien, Ganesha, Garey, Gladstone, Glendora, La Puente, Los Altos, Nogales, Pomona, Rowland, San Dimas, Sierra Vista, South Hills, Upland, Walnut, West Covina, Wilson and Workman.
