Maybe Raiders Simply Had a Few Too Many Pressing Difficulties
Something doesn’t add up. California taxpayers, through a temporary increase in sales taxes, are forced to assist Oakland residents who suffered losses as a result of the October earthquake. Yet, the city of Oakland somehow came up with $600 million for Al Davis to move the Raiders there.
