Woman Stabbed to Death in Van Nuys
An unidentified woman was found stabbed to death in the parking lot next to a Van Nuys apartment complex, Los Angeles police said Monday.
The woman, between 25 and 30, was discovered by officers sent to the 16100 block of Hart Street just before midnight Sunday, said Lt. Warren Knowles. She was pronounced dead at the scene, Knowles said.
“Apartment residents heard a woman screaming and called police,” Knowles said. “But we found no one who saw what happened or a suspect. We have no clues.”
The victim had no identification. She was described as white, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing about 115 pounds. She had reddish-brown hair and was wearing a bulky white sweater, a white tank top, blue jeans and white tennis shoes, Knowles said.
