CLEVELAND —
Bart Wolstein, who owned the now-defunct Cleveland Force of the Major Indoor Soccer League, has made a down payment on a franchise in the new Global Hockey League.
The Plain Dealer said today that the down payment was believed to be $25,000 toward the $400,000 league franchise fee.
