Share

Two Los Angeles artists who are widely known for religious art have donated three of their works to Catholic Charities of Ventura County, which will sell them during its annual Gloria Dei Art Festival this weekend in Camarillo.

Artists Isabel and Edith Piczek, renowned throughout the country for their stained glass, mosaics and murals in churches, will be present to discuss their work during the third annual festival at St. John’s Seminary, 5012 East Seminary Road.

Also on display will be colorful banners that the Piczeks created for an ecumenical meeting between Pope John Paul II and religious leaders in Los Angeles during the pontiff’s 1987 visit.
