Southland realtors have captured five of the top 10 sales awards given out to Re/Max International’s 26,000 agents across the country.

Larry Arman, the broker and owner of the Re/Max Rolling Hills Estates office, was named the company’s No. 1 residential sales associate for 1989 and was No. 2 in the combination residential-commercial competition.

Arman personally handled about 30 transactions last year with a total value of more than $40 million. It was the fourth straight year he was named the top-producing Re/Max agent in the nation.
