SPECIAL TO THE TIMES

Josh Brewer of Oak View and Mike Gray of Ventura each won two races in the 125cc beginner class Saturday night at Ventura Raceway to keep their motocross season points battle close.

Brewer leads the division with 126 points and Gray has 123.

But while most of the points leaders in the other divisions failed to pick up victories Saturday, there was an abundance of double winners.

Mark Stuen of Simi Valley and Kyle Lewis of Simi Valley were double winners in the 125cc junior and pro divisions, respectively.
