Although there are no disposal sites for toxic household materials in Anaheim, the city periodically collects the substances for proper disposal, said Tom Graham, a hazardous materials inspector at the Anaheim Fire Department.

Graham said that dumping toxins with other household garbage is a common crime, but the culprits are rarely caught.
