In-N-Out Burger Sued Over Strawberry Shake: The In-N-Out Burger chain was sued in Los Angeles Superior Court Thursday by Mary Perez, who claims that a strawberry shake purchased from the company “caused irritation, burns and related injury upon contact.” Perez alleges that the company failed to exercise ordinary care after she bought the shake in May, 1989, from an In-N-Out Burger store in La Puente. A spokeswoman for the company said she is unaware of the alleged incident. (Filed May 10, 1990. Case No. KC000225)
