SANTA ANA : Sheepshearing Is Highlight of Festival

Spectators will be able to witness sheep being sheared Saturday at the eighth annual Santa Ana Zoo sheepshearing festival.
Demonstrations of wool carding, spinning and weaving will also be featured. The festival will be on the lawn inside the zoo at Prentice Park, 1801 E. Chestnut Ave. The festival is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Zoo hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is $2 for adults, 75 cents for children.
