FREEWAY CLOSURES : Freeway Repairs Announced

Caltrans advises motorists that it plans the following freeway work in the Southeast/Long Beach area this week. Repair locations listed below are spotted on the map by number.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Carson: Westbound Avalon Boulevard off-ramp; Monday, to 11 a.m.; stenciling.

2. Cerritos: Westbound Bloomfield Avenue on-ramp and off-ramp; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; landscaping.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

3. Commerce: Northbound connector road to the northbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) and Olympic Boulevard to Santa Ana Freeway; today, 6:30 to 11:30 a.m.; guardrail repair.

4. Commerce: Northbound and southbound No. 1 and 2 lanes; northbound connector road to the northbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) and from the Santa Ana Freeway interchange to Washington Boulevard; today, 6:30 a.m. to noon; wall repair.

5. Lynwood: Southbound/eastbound Century Boulevard on-ramp; Wednesday, 9 to 10:30 a.m.; stenciling.

6. South Gate: Southbound/eastbound Imperial Highway on-ramp and off-ramp; Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; stenciling.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

7. Commerce: Southbound No. 1 lane; Indiana Street to Olympic Boulevard; today, 6:30 to 11:30 a.m.; guardrail repair.

8. Commerce: Northbound connector road to the northbound Long Beach Freeway (710) to Atlantic Boulevard; today, 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.; landscaping.

9. Commerce: Northbound No. 4 lane; Eastern Avenue off-ramp to Downey Road on-ramp and Eastern Avenue off-ramp; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; landscaping.

TERMINAL ISLAND FREEWAY (103)

10. Long Beach: Northbound lanes at the Navy base; Wednesday, 1 to 2:30 p.m.; stenciling.

LAKEWOOD BOULEVARD (19)

11. Downey: Northbound and southbound lanes at Cecilia Street; Monday, noon to 1:30 p.m.; stenciling.
