Book Pact: Mainstream Americana International has signed a distribution agreement with Bookman Books Ltd. of Taipei, Taiwan, to sell the English edition of its guidebook, “America Is: A Complete Guide to the USA,” in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. Bookman also has obtained the Chinese language translation rights for worldwide distribution of the guidebook.
Mainstream Americana, a Newport Beach tour operator, said it hopes to sign similar pacts with foreign publishers to translate the book into Vietnamese, Russian, Polish and German.
