LAGUNA HILLS : Driver Who Killed Woman Is Sought
The California Highway Patrol is seeking the public’s help in finding a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a 78-year-old Laguna Hills woman.
Kathryn Stewart was hit by a small- to mid-size white sedan Saturday as she crossed the eastbound lanes of Santa Maria Avenue at Via Vista, CHP spokesman Gary Alfonzo said.
The driver is described only as having blond hair, he said. The car may have right front damage.
Anyone with information is asked to call CHP investigator Mort Opittik at (714) 661-6215.
