Eastern Airlines DC-9 Blows Tire During Takeoff

ATLANTA —
An Eastern Airlines DC-9 carrying 97 passengers made an emergency landing after the plane blew a tire when taking off from Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport, an official said. No injuries were reported in the Thursday night incident.
