LIMA, Peru —
Three temblors shook an area in the northern jungle that was devastated by a magnitude 6.3 earthquake May 29, authorities said Saturday. At least eight people were killed and 37 were injured.
Two of the earthquakes struck about midnight Friday and another hit near dawn Saturday, a spokesman for the National Geophysical Institute in Lima said.
The institute said it did not have a reading on the intensity of the tremors.
