Reds Trade Ron Robinson, Sebra to Brewers for Braggs and Bates
The Cincinnati Reds have traded pitchers Ron Robinson and Bob Sebra to the Milwaukee Brewers for outfielder Glenn Braggs and infielder Billy Bates, the Reds announced Saturday.
Robinson, 28, was 2-2 with a 4.88 earned-run average in six games for the Reds. Sebra, 28, had been playing for the Reds triple-A team at Nashville and will be assigned to Denver, the Brewers’ triple-A club.
Braggs, 27, was hitting .248 with three homers and 13 RBIs in 37 games for the Brewers. Bates, 26, will move from Denver to Nashville. At Denver, he was hitting .327 in 25 games. He began the season with Milwaukee, hitting .103 in 14 games.
