U.S. Soccer Referee on Roster

U.S. soccer referee Vincent Mauro has been named to handle a World Cup game Tuesday between Belgium and South Korea at Verona.
Mauro was the only American selected to the group of 36 referees officiating at the tournament.
FIFA’s General Secretary Sepp Blatter said all 36 official tournament referees have passed demanding physical tests, designed to ensure that they can keep up with play.
