Poll Shows Support for Green Energy: The Coalition for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Technologies (CEERT) said a public opinion poll showed strong support in California for renewable and efficient energy sources. Almost nine out of 10 Californians believe that state government should encourage environmentally sound energy use, according to CEERT, and 70% said they would be willing to pay more to get it. CEERT is a California-based coalition of environmentalist groups and renewable energy companies.
