The Region : Water Cleanup Review Set
Federal and state officials next Thursday will hold the second and final set of public meetings to review a five-year, $106-million plan for the short-term cleanup of underground water pollution in the San Gabriel Valley.
The meetings will take place at the El Monte Community Center, 3130 N. Tyler Ave., El Monte. The first session will run from 2:30 to 5 p.m. A second session will be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
Federal and state water experts, as they did during similar meetings in May, will detail the cleanup plans and answer questions.
