LA PALMA : Council Appoints New City Manager
Pamela Gibson, assistant city manager for the past four years, was appointed city manager by vote of the City Council this week.
Gibson, 46, replaces Paul Bussey, who left to become city manager of the city of Palos Verdes. Bussey served as city manager of La Palma for four years.
Before coming to La Palma, Gibson worked for the city of San Juan Capistrano for 10 years. Her salary will be $72,000 a year.
