A pretrial hearing was continued in the case of a Hollywood Park mutuel clerk charged with misdemeanor conspiracy and grand theft in connection with an alleged scheme involving a $1.38-million Pick Six betting pool at Hollywood Park.

The case of Deane Bailey will be heard July 24 in Inglewood Municipal Court, said Larry Peterson, city prosecutor. A co-defendant, James Farenbaugh, failed to appear for a June 12 arraignment. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
