Thanks a lot, NBC and ESPN! You ruined a great French Open. While we enjoyed all the early round matches live on ESPN, we had to watch a delayed men’s semifinal on NBC during which the announcers informed us who had won the other men’s semifinal, which was not shown on ESPN until later in the day.

On June 9, while eagerly anticipating the women’s final at 1 p.m. on NBC, we heard on ESPN at 9 a.m. that Monica Seles had beaten Steffi Graf.

If NBC and ESPN can’t carry the matches live, they shouldn’t show them at all!
