Davis Named Angel of Week

Chili Davis, who had eight hits in 24 at-bats in six games and extended his hitting streak to 10 games, has been named Angel of the Week by The Times’ Orange County Edition.

Davis had a home run, two doubles and six RBIs in six games and took the team lead with 40 RBIs on the season. He also scored three runs and leads the Angels in that category with 42. He raised his batting average to .278.

A check for $250 in Davis’ name will be given to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Orange County.
