3 Workers Die in Vault Blast
Three Pasadena Public Service Department workers were killed Thursday night when an explosion rocked an underground electrical vault in Pasadena.
The blast occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. near San Rafael Avenue and La Loma Road, said Lori Fitch of the Verdugo dispatch center. The men were pulled from the vault about 11 p.m.
