Members of the Los Angeles film and television industry have scheduled a public memorial service for homeless advocate Mitch Snyder at Hollywood Methodist Church, Highland and Franklin avenues, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The tribute is being organized by Joanne Carson and Edward James Olmos, who are planning eulogies by Valerie Harper, Martin Sheen, Lou Gossett and Casey Kasem.
Snyder, 46, was found dead July 5, an apparent suicide, in the Washington shelter he founded.
