Bank Teller Hands Over $600 to Robber
BUENA PARK —
A bank robber waited his turn in line Monday, then demanded money from a teller and escaped with about $600, police said.
No weapon was seen during the robbery, which occurred about 3 p.m. at a Bank of America branch at 7855 La Palma Avenue, and no injuries were reported.
Police said the robber told the teller: “Give me all the money. This is a robbery.”
When the teller hesitated, the robber said: “Hurry up, hurry up or I’ll shoot you.”
The teller handed over $600 and the robber fled.
