School Union Files Unfair Labor Charge

Share

The union representing non-teaching employees in the Inglewood Unified School District has filed an unfair labor charge against the district, accusing officials of using delaying tactics during the ongoing negotiations.

Chris Graeber, field representative for California Professional Education Employees, said the district missed its July 11 deadline for submitting a counterproposal to the union, which earlier this year became the representative for the district’s aides, peace officers, truck drivers, secretaries and other staff members.

District spokesman Maurice Wiley said the district “dropped the ball” and would be presenting a counterproposal soon.
