Don G. McNeill’s Clever Trevor, eligible for the $600,000 Arlington Challenge Cup at Arlington International Racecourse on Aug. 4, has suffered a bone chip in a knee and will be sidelined until spring.

The 4-year-old gelded son of Slewacide, owned and bred by his owner in Oklahoma, has won 12 of 20 starts and has earned $1,072,083. He won his first two races this year, allowance events at Arlington, and then finished fourth to Beau Genius in the $300,000 Michigan Mile and One Eighth.
