600 Gallons of Sewage Spill Into S.D. Bay

About 600 gallons of untreated sewage spilled into San Diego Bay on Sunday, the San Diego County Health Department said.
Warning signs were posted along the bay near the 2000 block of Harbor Island Drive after sewage began pouring into the bay about 2:30 p.m., a department spokesman said.
The spill, caused by grease in the sewer line, was staunched at 3 p.m.
